Rare event! Pignols chapel is open this weekend!

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September, from 14:30 to 19:00, PIGNOLS chapel (3km from VIC-le-COMTE) is open to the public for guided visits. This is your chance to see the rare and extraordinary series of wall paintings in this tiny chapel. The guides will try to explain the mysteries of certain figures and symbols... and why the giant moustached figure overhead is... upside-down! Definite sketching and photo opportunity. The village itself is worth a tour, and if you like walking or cycling, definitely do the walk (follow the yellow markings on the trees or walls) that goes from the village to Vic-le-Comte and back (about 1,5 hours on foot). Check it out in the relevant Chamina guide!
