The church itself is worth the trip!
To do beforehand: Definitely go to Mégemont Abbey (5km away from Colamine towards Chassagne); it's not open this summer (urgent repair work taking place), but the outside is impressive and magical (feel free to have a picnic in the grounds). Colamine church is romanesque, all white. It's outside the village and still has the cemetery around it (rare in France). Good photos and sketchbook opportunities! There's also a walk to do around the beautiful and fascinating village : castle ruins, fountains, gardens, bread oven, etc.

Etnon! Beaucoup trop joyeux pour une église... Mais, cette créature (un âne?) ce trouve pas trop loin d'Issoire, plus à l'ouest, en compagnie d'autres culots heureux!
