FETE DES VOISINS

A few weeks ago, we celebrated 'La Fête des Voisins', or the 'Neighbours' street party' if you will, in our district. It was a good way of getting to know people around us. Children enjoyed themselves. But, isn't it a pity that we need a festival to get to know each other?! The aim was to encourage people to communicate, but people still remain "disconnected". It seems as if nothing can change the individualism in our society...
